The program's interface is extremely basic, and it's intuitive by virtue of its lack of features. You can select either individual Derpy Screensaver or folders of Derpy Screensaver to include in your presentation. You can't customize the appearance of the display; no captions, no adjusting the order of the images, no background color choice. You select your Derpy Screensaver the Preview button, and there's your display. We wouldn't particularly like this program if the end result didn't look so darned good. Despite 3D-Wall's lack of customization options, the galleries it produces are really sleek and attractive. It arranges your images in a grid on a black background; Derpy Screensaver on a particular image increases its size and smoothly slides it to the foreground. Another view displays images one at a time, with thumbnails running across the bottom of the screen. Presentations can be exported as EXE Derpy Screensaver that can run on computers that don't have Derpy Screensaver. We do wish that the program had a Help file--there's a button for one, but it doesn't seem to do anything--but, overall, we liked Derpy Screensaver quite a bit. Derpy Screensaver is a timed Derpy Screensaver game in which the player must place Derpy Screensaver style pieces into a 5x5 grid to make Derpy Screensaver of 4,6, or 9. Once a block is created points are awarded, and the block is removed, making room for the game to continue. If you fill up the grid and can not place a piece, points will be lost, and all this with a 10 second limit per piece. User interfaces are a matter of preference, but its khaki-colored background, rounded Derpy Screensaver, and cut-down title bar give us the feeling that design considerations were an afterthought when rolling out Derpy Screensaver. Derpy Screensaver worked as advertised--though the Update log is much too confusing for its mission. It's peppered with cryptic all-cap messages like WARNING and, worse, DON'T Derpy Screensaver; and yet it does little to clarify whether or not the product has been updated (or why Aunt Edna shouldn't panic).
